A growing number of families across Southern Chester County find it harder to afford groceries, despite employment.

Many households work long hours, share vehicles, or live in rural areas with limited transportation, making accessing traditional food pantries challenging.

Delivering Hope closes the gap. SILO brings fresh groceries directly to front doors, ensuring working families consistently have the food they need.

Since launching six years ago, Delivering Hope has grown into a trusted and efficient lifeline for families in the Oxford area. Last year:

Over the years, Delivering Hope has grown as more neighbors reach out for support, but the program has outgrown current capacity.

As requests increase, routes and delivery days get longer and the physical demand of loading and unloading hundreds of pounds of groceries each week intensifies. Additional staff will share the labor, shorten delivery days and strengthen trusted relationships.

Current delivery vehicles are high-mileage and increasingly unreliable with ongoing maintenance and downtime adding strain to already tight delivery schedules. A reliable, thoughtfully-equipped delivery vehicle will allow SILO to add delivery routes, shorten delivery time, and reduce strain on staff.
